Charlie Drees, LSCSW, LCMFT retired from Pawnee Mental Health Services on June 30th after 23 years of service. Charlie is a licensed specialist clinical social worker and a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist.
Charlie earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare and a master’s degree from the Kansas State University Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
Charlie began his employment with Pawnee in 1991 as an Admission Counselor and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) consultant. In1992 he became Pawnee’s EAP consultant/outpatient therapist. He was named the Employee Assistance Coordinator in 1998. In 2003 he was promoted to the Program Director for Prevention, Education and Consultation. He became the EAP Manager and Outpatient therapist in 2008 and began working part-time for Pawnee in 2013.
Pawnee Mental Health Services is a licensed community mental health center and licensed substance use treatment center serving approximately 7,800 people annually in north central Kansas.
