Your Gift Helps...
Pawnee Mental Health Services:
— Assist individuals and families in emergency situations after hours.
— Provide case management to people who are too mentally ill to work and who need help to live in the community.
— Provide therapy for youngsters whose families cannot afford to pay for the help their children need.
— Help people obtain the expensive medications they need to manage their illnesses.
— Help send severely emotionally disturbed children to summer camp.
— Reach out to mentally ill persons who have no home.
— Provide crisis services to a parent whose child has attempted suicide.
— Guide and support and adolescent when drugs or alcohol affect everyday relationships.
— Maintain excellence through program enhancement.

The need is great...Approximately 26% of Americans ages 18 and older (about one in four adults) suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder.
Pawnee relies on client fees, contractual payments from the ten counties it serves, and grant funds from the State of Kansas for most of its revenue. In the past, these sources provided enough revenue to balance Pawnee's mandate to serve those in need regardless of their ability to pay. Due to dramatic shifts in traditional funding for mental health services and shrinking reimbursements, your gifts take on increased importance in assisting Pawnee Mental Health Services in fulfilling its mission to enhance and strengthen the wellness of our communities.
Because of our call to serve all in need regardless of ability to pay, we are dependent on the generosity of private donors. Your gifts are meaningful, regardless of size or type.
