About Pawnee

Founded on November 19, 1956, Pawnee Mental Health Services is a private, not-for-profit organization licensed by the state of Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) as a community mental health center, one of 26 in the state of Kansas. Pawnee is also a licensed by the state of Kansas Department of Addiction and Prevention Services (AAPS) as a Substance Abuse treatment facility.

Pawnee offers a wide range of outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults experiencing concerns related to their emotional and mental health as well as to their alcohol or drug use. Pawnee offers services for people looking for short term assistance with general problems related to their life and relationships. Pawnee also offers services for people looking for help with serious mental health or substance abuse issues.

Pawnee Mental Health Services serves all based on medical necessity, regardless of age, race, color, national origin, disability, or ability to pay, and offers a range of outpatient services including individual, marital, family and group therapy, medication evaluation and management, case management, individual and group psychosocial rehabilitation services, emergency services, and consultation and education.
