The next KanCare Education tour is being offered to Medicaid members in February. The meeting will answer Medicaid beneficiaries’ questions about the transitions to KanCare. KanCare is the state’s Medicaid managed care plan. KanCare is run by three insurance companies: United HealthCare, Amerigroup and Sunflower State Health Plan, a subsidiary of Centene.
Meetings will be held in 16 cities around the state. Local meetings will be held in Manhattan and Salina. Meetings will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:
Manhattan: Monday, February 18 – Holiday Inn at Campus, Landon Room,1641 Anderson Ave.
Salina: Tuesday, February 19 – Centennial Center, NW Heritage Hall, 800 The Midway.
