Pawnee Awarded Funding for Parent Support and Education Coordinator

Parent Support Logo finalThe Manhattan Fund – Caroline Peine Charitable Foundation has awarded $25,000 to Pawnee Mental Health Services Community Based Services (CBS) program.  The CBS program serves children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances (SED).  The grant will help defray the salary costs of a Parent Support and Education Coordinator.  The Parent Support and Education Coordinator will provide education and support to families with children experiencing SED, autism or pervasive developmental disorders, and children or parents recovering from alcohol and/or drug misuse or other mental health challenges in the City of Manhattan and Riley County.
