Pawnee staff adhere to high standards set by the agency, the state of Kansas and their respective disciplines’ codes of ethics. Direct service providers receive clinical supervision and their work is reviewed through the supervision process and through the agency’s utilization review department. Their knowledge and treatment skills are updated and enhanced through professional development opportunities.
Medical staff consists of physicians (MDs)specializing in psychiatry, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), and registered nurses (RNs). Our physicians are licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts and the nursing staff is licensed by the Kansas Board of Nursing.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) staff includes doctorate level and clinical masters level psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors and alcohol and other drug abuse counselors. Our clinicians are licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
Community Based Services (CBS) and Community Support Services (CSS) staff includes non-licensed employees such as case managers, attendant care workers and psychosocial rehabilitation providers whose work is supervised by QMHPs.
