Ways to Support the Crisis Stabilization Center

  • Double your support!  The Goldstein Foundation of Manhattan generously provided a $200,000 challenge-match grant for the purpose of completing the funding for the construction phase of the facility. Gifts of any size that are not specified for programming or the operation of the facility are matched $1 for $1 until we have received the entire $200,000. 

  • Outright gifts such as cash or appreciated stocks or assets can be given to support any aspect of the Crisis Stabilization Center as well as pledges for reoccurring monthly gifts or multi-year gifts.

  • Gift cards for restaurants or grocery stores are helpful for purchasing food and necessary supplies.

  • Gifts-in-kind are also a great way to support the Crisis Stabilization Center. Below is a list of one-time and ongoing needs as well as some specific gifts-in-kind that we are hoping to acquire:

  • MP3 type personal music players with earbuds

  • Headphones

  • Noise canceling headphones

  • Over the counter medications and supplies (analgesics, antidiarrheal, antacids, bandages, RID, gloves etc.)

  • Toiletries and feminine hygiene products (tooth brushes, travel size tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, ethnic hair products, lotion, etc.)

  • Food 

    • Frozen entrees​

    • Snack food

    • Bottled water

    • Juice

    • Prepared desserts
