Giving Opportunities

Christmas in July
We are starting early this year collecting new items that can be used as Christmas gifts for the CSU adult clients in December.  For many, it is necessary to spend Christmas in the CSU to get treatment for their mental health crisis. This isn't fun for anyone, but the CSU staff work hard to make it the best experience they can.  For many of the clients, this may be the only Christmas gift they receive this year.

Examples of items include but are not limited to:

hats, gloves, duffel bags, small tool sets, reusable water bottles, umbrellas, lotion sets, recharging bricks, phone charging cord, headphones, earbuds etc. Any item that an adult would like is welcome.

Creativity and Recovery
Art supplies are used and desperately needed in all of Pawnee’s programs throughout our 10-county service area. Supplies such as paint, markers, paper, paint brushes, art sticks, glue etc. are utilized almost daily in our community services programs. These items were expensive already but with the pandemic they have become a lot more expensive.

To donate items, contact Di Hinrichs-Toburen at
