Jesse Scoggan
Youth Community Services Supervisor
How I help:
I serve as the Youth Community Services Supervisor for Pawnee Mental Health’s western region, overseeing services in Cloud, Mitchell, Jewell, Republic, and Washington counties. I lead a dedicated team focused on supporting youth facing mental health challenges and strengthening community-based outreach efforts. After serving as a youth case manager at Pawnee, I’m honored to step into this leadership role and continue making an impact in the lives of young people and their families.
My specialties:
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field and nearly 10 years as a case manager and Case Management Director at Hope City in Kansas City, Missouri, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities youth and families face. My approach combines direct, clear communication with team-focused leadership. As a disabled United States Marine Corps veteran, I’m personally committed to helping others navigate their own mental health journeys. My experiences—both personal and professional—inform my empathy and dedication to equipping young people with the tools and support they need to thrive.
More about me:
My passion for service is rooted in the legacy of my father, whose work in underserved communities inspired my commitment to helping others. I grew up in a large, tight-knit family that valued compassion and connection, and I carry those values with me in everything I do. I now live in Beloit, Kansas, with my wife, Kara, and our three children. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring local trails and caring for our many animals—including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, lambs, and turkeys. Family and community remain at the heart of my life and my work.
