Dr. Liberty Eberly, D.O.
Medical Director
How I help:
As a psychiatrist with extensive experience in community mental health, I have treated children and adults with mental illness and substance use disorders since 2009. My approach to care is holistic, addressing the mind, body, and spirit while using evidence-based practices to support recovery and reduce suffering. In my role as Medical Director, I enjoy supporting clinicians and care teams, offering guidance on complex patient cases as well as system-level and workflow considerations to strengthen quality of care across the organization.
My specialties:
My clinical background focuses on working with children and adults with serious mental illness in community outpatient mental health settings. While I value the role of traditional psychiatric medications, I have a strong interest in integrative and holistic approaches that address trauma and the mind-body connection. I am particularly passionate about recovery-oriented models of care and supporting patients in healing from trauma in comprehensive and compassionate ways.
More about me:
I consider myself a lifelong learner and am currently completing a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on entrepreneurship and U.S. business law. I have also completed certification as a psychedelic-assisted therapist, with training in ketamine, MDMA, and psilocybin, reflecting my interest in emerging treatment modalities within psychiatry. I have lived experience with Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy as part of my professional development and remain deeply interested in innovative approaches to trauma recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my four daughters and my two dogs—a Shih Tzu and a Newfoundland. I love traveling and seeking out new adventures, including immersive cultural experiences that expand my perspective and understanding of the world.
