What Can Be Expected: Same Day Assessments are available to anyone wanting to begin addressing your mental health or addiction needs. No appointment required. We will do our best to see you the day you come in.

Assessment/Intake Process: When you arrive at Pawnee Mental Health, you will be checked in and meet with an Admissions Representative and Patient Navigator to assure everything is complete for your intake. A therapist will meet with you to complete an individualized intake assessment. The therapist will gather the necessary information regarding your history, prior mental health/addiction treatment received, and current medical issues/concern. At the completion of the intake assessment referrals will be made for the appropriate services you will receive at Pawnee Mental Health.

Intakes are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that Same Day Access Intakes are not guaranteed. If our capacity for the day has been reached, alternative options will be offered for scheduling the intake at a later time.

What To Bring: Everybody is served regardless of payor source or ability to pay. If you do not have insurance a sliding fee scale is available and accepted as a form of payment for the services provided.

  • Insurance Card: Please bring your insurance card with you. We do accept Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
