MEDICAL SERVICES

Pawnee offers Psychiatric (medication) evaluation and treatment services for children, adolescents and adults experiencing medical symptoms related to their emotional and mental health as well as their alcohol or drug use. Pawnee provides medication services for people experiencing mild to moderate symptoms as well as for people experiencing severe and persistent symptoms.

PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION

A medical evaluation provided by a psychiatrist (MD) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in which the provider determines whether an individual has a diagnosis of a mental illness and whether medication would provide appropriate medical treatment.

MEDICATION CHECK

A medical appointment with a psychiatrist (MD) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in which the providers assesses the effectiveness of the patient’s medications and makes appropriate adjustments.
