How I Help:

Life can be hard, and everyone deserves someone who will support and challenge them while tackling the obstacles life throws at us. My goal is that we can work together as a team to help overcome any barriers you feel are keeping you from who you want to be. I want to provide a safe, empathetic and affirming space for you to process emotions, past events or current life changes.

My Specialties:

Anxiety & Depression

Whether it be struggles with getting out of bed in the morning, debilitating panic attacks, thoughts of suicide or any of the hundreds of ways anxiety and depression can manifest within us, these feelings can make us feel isolated or alone. I am here to talk with you through the symptoms and their causes to identify emotional skills and changes that can be made to improve your day-to-day life.

Life Transitions:

Sometimes we can plan for change, sometimes change comes without warning. When these transitions come it can cause feelings of doubt, grief, or loss of identity. However, it can also provide us with the unique opportunity to step into a new version of ourselves that can lead to new experiences and happiness we did not know were possible.

Emotion Regulation:

As a therapist and a human, I truly believe that there is validity in every emotion that we feel. When working with you, I want to help you dive deep into where certain emotions stem from, how to recognize those emotions and how to regain control over them so they do not negatively impact you and your loved ones.

More About Me:

I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker; I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Kansas in Social Welfare. I have worked in crisis, inpatient and intensive outpatient settings with individuals spanning ages 5-99. Outside of work, I love to read, play pickleball, tennis, boardgames, video games (especially Mario Party or Mario Kart) and I am always interested in watching a new thriller or horror movie.
